Cubase doesnt let me drag and drop audio files or anything from the windows explorer to Cubase or Halion. The mouse cursor just turns onto x-ed out circle while dragging anything over the program. This is something I use pretty much every time I open Cubase so its a real problem. My college also has this exact problem with cubase 7.07+win10 so its not isolated to my computer.
I can drag and drop samples to Cubase and Halion as long as I dont run Cubase as Administrator but that makes jBridge misbehave. I get a warning pop up from every jbridged plugin while opening projects and some jbridged plugins show up blank so thats no good either…
edit - Found another workaround here on this forum - download this explorer and run as admin - https://explorerplusplus.com/ - its a good quick fix but still not perfect…
