unable to hear sound when playing mdi keyboard

hi, i have noticed lately that when i load a vst and try to play on my nocturn 25,i get no sound
the midi light on the transport panel is registering when i press a key on the nocturn
anyone else notice this issue? i am using latest version of cubase

Can you hear the sound, when you press the virtual keyboard key of the virtual instrument?

Can you hear the sound, if you load any audio Loop from MediaBay?

Check your VST Connections settings, please. If you are on Cubase AI/LE/Elements or Artist, you should check VST Connections > Outputs. If you are on Cubase Pro, you should check VST Connections > Studio, and make sure, Monitor 1 bus is created and routed.
