Unable to Install Cubase Artist 9.5 on Mac (cannot open InstallerProgress)

Hi - I got a new Mac and am getting the following message when trying to install Cubase Artist Pro 9.5.

ERROR MESSAGE:
“InstallerProgress” cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified. MacOS cannot verify that this app is free from malware.

Attempting to Eject Disk fails, and Cancel creates an endless loop.

Does anyone know how I can get around this? I tried installing with Ctrl-Click and telling it to allow in Security and Privacy settings - neither of these helped…

Hi and welcome to the forum,

Cubase 9.5 was not compatible with macOS 14, neither Apple M processors. Please, update to the current (and compatible) Cubase 13. The update is 50% off at this moment.
