Unable to re-arrange Send Effects Slots in v3.8.3 (SOLVED)

Hi Lars,
there appears to be a bug when trying to re-arrange the Send Effects slot, the Effect name just highlights and flashes but it can’t be moved, Re-arranging the Insert Effects slot works ok.

Rearranging effects

You can change the position of insert and send effects by moving them to a different slot (of the same track). To do so, tap and hold the effect to be rearranged, and drag it vertically to another slot.

As the send effects go directly from the assigned send effect to the master bus without control over the return level or further options to send the returned signal to the other sends/effects there’s practically no point in re-ordering the send-effects?!

Sometimes a Send effect can be set up and tweaked and then realised a different Send effect was needed as first in the chain and at the moment this is not possible, besides, it specifies this ‘place change’ ability in the Cubasis Help section which I have included in my last post.

As far as I know the send effects in Cubasis are ‘parallel’ meaning the order doesn’t really matter, insert effects are ‘serial’ one after another.

@LSlowak can correct here in case I’m wrong…

I quite often change the order of Insert effects with no issues, the Send effect order change issue was mentioned on the LoopyPro forum, it was @sigma75 who asked the question and I just followed it up, but thanks for your explanations, @LSlowak will put us right here

Hi @Samuel_Lindeman,
You are correct, I just set up a load of different fx in Send Effects and turned different fx on and off in different sequences as a audio track was playing and the order of these fx plugins made no difference whatsoever.
Thank you :+1:
