More than an annoyance than anything. Occasionally Dorico won’t launch at all, usually after it’s already been run in the past on a current boot session of Win 11.
I already tried ending the VSTAudioEngine task which is still running but still won’t launch. Not sure if this has been addressed yet but it’s the only program I have that does this.
Have you also tried killing any running Dorico task?
It sounds as if there is a problem with the audio engine that is preventing Dorico from being able to start up again. Once you’ve got Dorico up and running again, please do Help > Create Diagnostic Report and attach the resulting zip file here. If it’s larger than 4MB you won’t be able to attach it here, so please upload it to a cloud storage folder and post a link to it.
