Unable to restore subscription Dorico for iPad

I opened up Dorico for iPad and it was prompting me to restore my subscription or subscribe. I tried the restore subscription button and it did nothing. I reinstalled and it’s doing the same thing. It fixed itself with the 6.2 update, but everytime I was opening a file, it kept duplicating. I reinstalled the app for a 3rd time and it’s still not recognizing my subscription.

Dorico Diagnostics.zip (82.8 KB)

Update. It finally recognized the subscription. Had to go through the process of attempting to purchase a subscription. Now it’s copying and saving files to On My iPad, instead of the original file location or in iCloud.

Update 2. Found the setting to save to iCloud. It’s still copying to the Dorico folder in iCloud instead of saving back to the original location in iCloud.

For the files that you’re finding are being saved to “On my iPad”, rather than back to the original file location or your iCloud Drive, where specifically are the original files located?

In a folder called Dorico Projects that was created by the desktop version of Dorico in the Documents folder in iCloud. All my original files are in the folder.

So that’s not the folder automatically created by Dorico for iPad in iCloud Drive, but a folder you’ve created yourself? That should also work, but I’ll look into it.

Correct. This folder was not created by the iPad version. I’m using both Desktop (Mac) and iPad in my regular workflow, so I’m opening up the files & working on them as needed. I mostly use the iPad when on the go or at rehearsals. It used to not exhibit this behaviour.

I’ve been looking into this today and I believe I have been able to fix the problem. Please send me a private message here on the forum telling me your Apple ID email address, and I will send you an invitation to try out a build with a fix via TestFlight.
