If I’m in engrave mode, it’s not possible to select notation objects (beams, articulations etc.) that are located inside the dotted polygon defined by a slur’s control points. In these cases, Dorico always highlights the slur rather than the clicked object. Is this intended behavior and do I have to use a special key combination to reach the “overlayed” objects?
It’s not intended behaviour, but you can work around it by Ctrl+clicking the slur to remove it from the selection. Slurs have big rectangular click areas at the moment, but they should have click areas that more closely track their curve, so they don’t interfere with selecting other things.
Daniel, thanks for the confirmation and the work-around. The ctrl-click method works nicely for the time being.
