I cannot uncheck the hide button in the plug in manager, in VST plug in manager.
My two third party VSTs that is hidden are showing up in VST instruments, but they are grayed out.

If I remember right, I have read about this issue.
The trick is to open a project, where the plug-in is not in use. Then you should be able to click the item in the VST Plug-in Manager.
