- Description
- When attempting to time-stretch an audio clip:
- Import an audio file into a track.
- Try to time-stretch the clip by dragging from the front edge.
- The clip either stretches all the way to the beginning of the track or compresses into a few bars with minimal movement of my finger.
- Time-stretching from the back edge works with precise control.
- Expected Results
- Time-stretching from the front edge should allow precise adjustments, similar to stretching from the back edge.
- Actual Results
- Time-stretching from the front edge results in extreme stretching or compressing with slight movements, making it unusable.
- Environment
- Device: iPhone 13 Pro Max
- OS: iOS 18.1
- Cubasis Version: 3.6.6
Hi @oceanfox
To use time-stretching with an imported audio event, please follow these simple steps:
- Double tap on the imported audio event in the Arrange Window to open it in the Audio Editor.
- Tap the bpm display located top right and enter the original tempo of the imported event, and close the Audio Editor afterwards.
- While the audio event is selected in the Arrange Window, tap “Stretch” and choose “Auto”.
Hope that help!
Best,
Lars
