"Unexpected Error"

I’m using Cubase 5 [ 5.0.1 build 147 - Built on March 25 2009 ]
My computer is a MacPro (Tower) [ 2 x 2.66 GHz Dual-Core Intel Xeon, 7GB 667 MHz DDR2 FB-DIMM ]
System: OSX 10.6.8

I’ve been working away with Cubase 5, recording audio and using MIDI in very simple ways and small number of tracks etc etc. I’ve been exporting to Audio Mixdown without any problems.

However, yesterday as I tried this function, I’m got a simple message: ‘Unexpected Error’ and tried restarting programme, then restarting the computer, then opening older files and trying to export (files which had successfully exported mix-downs, previously) but each time I try Export to Audio Mixdown, the same message appears.

Can anyone suggest what might be the problem or the resolution?

I don’t know about Apple Devices …

but in Windows it’s maybe Access Problem, Try running Cubase “as an Administrator”
and this should help too, Try changing the Export Direction to another folder …

that’s happened to me before…
maybe you can fix it like i did

Best.
