Uninstall After Corrupt Install?

Hi Folks!

I installed Dorico 5 and something crashed along the way. It still works but notably crashes when I try to update. I’d like to uninstall 4 & 5 and just do a clean 5 install. But I can’t figure out how to uninstall short of just dragging to the trash?

So how do I get rid of 4 & 5 to clean install 5 again?

Mac, Intel, Ventura if any of that matters.

Candlebane, you actually don’t need to uninstall version 4 at all. Instead I would try to launch Steinbergs Download Manager again and reinstall Dorico 5 newest version from there. That should fix your problem.

I gave it a shot…here’s what I got:

There are several pages of this.

Sometimes these logs gives you a hint.
If I read this, I would go to the Downloads Folder and trash (put into the waste…) the Steinberg Folder.
[edit] first try Ulf’s suggestion, he is the profi!

Easiest solution would be, go to that mentioned folder (…/Groove Agent SE 5 - Content (recommended)) and completely remove it. Then use the Steinberg Download Assistant and download and install again.

Well, you basically gave the same advice, only my folder suggestion was slightly less radical

Thanks to both of you! It’s working now. I removed the folder, it redownloaded ok, and install appears to have worked.
