I tried out a free trial version of Noteperformer, and after the trial period ended I decided to not purchase it. Now every time I open my lead sheet template in Dorico I get a message that the 30 day evaluation period has ended, and in Play mode the only routing options I have are 01 - Dorico Beep and 02 - Noteperformer. Halion Sonic isn’t an option.
How do I uninstall the trial version of Noteperformer so I don’t get that message when I open it, and get Halion Sonic as a routing option again?
in Windows you just uninstall it the same way as with any other application (through Settings–> Apps) and I’m assuming it’s the same with Mac. Does that not remove the vst as well? Have you installed Halion Sonic instrument and Halion Sonic Content? Does it show up as installed in the Steinberg Download manager?
yes, exactly - was just going to add that you want to change the default playback template from NotePerformer to Auto if it is currently NP (Preferences–> Play–>Playback template)
On Mac run /Library/Application Support/NotePerformer/Uninstall NotePerformer.command , it’s a shell script in the Library on the top level on the startup volume.
