Uninstalling old Dorico version

Dear Doricians,
I’ve tried to uninstall Dorico 2 but failed…
In the app installing/uninstalling window in Windows 10 Dorico is not listed. And in the C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Dorico2 folder I can’t find an uninstall.exe or something similar. Help would be appreciated!

You might find that reinstalling Dorico 2 is the easiest way to restore the ability to uninstall it cleanly.

There are several “app installing and uninstalling windows.” You might have looked in the wrong one - for example the one that only handles apps that are part of Windows itself, or that you bought from the Apps Store.

Also, the uninstallers are hidden. They are not in C:\Program Files\whatever.

Find Dorico 2 in the Windows Start menu. Right-click on the Dorico 2 icon and select “uninstall” (see the attachment).

That will open a window called “Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features”. Find “Steinberg Dorico 2” in the list and double click on it to uninstall it.

Don’t uninstall other things in the list like “Steinberg HALion …” because they are common to all versions of Dorico.

Thanks Daniel and Rob! The program wasn’t even listed in the start menu so reinstalling was the fastest way
