Unknown location for 10gb of installed "sound content for Dorico Pro 4"

Hi,

I’ve just installed the Dorico Pro 4 trial (see screenshot 1) for Mac OS

However in the destination folder (to which all SDA downloads directed their output) I have the following file path:

Steinberg > OSX > Sound Content for Dorico Pro 4 (recommended)

That “Sound Content” folder has a size of Zero KB, and has no items within it. Meanwhile, the other downloads handled by SDA went as expected.

As a final question, the HALion Sonic SE instrument installed correctly, and I see its 25MB application in the Applications folder. But I do not know where the ~1gb of sounds have been installed. Where are they?

Run the Steinberg Library Manager. That will show you where each sample library is stored (and also allow you to move them).
