Unknown Shortcut Icon for Stop Note Input

Wanting to create a shortcut for the “Stop Note Input” button (a/k/a “Select Tool”? or Disable Mouse Input tool?), I went to Preferences>Key Commands>Note Input>Stop Note Input, and saw this shortcut icon for something already assigned. I’ve never seen this before… what is it? (Mac)

Thanks for getting back ! I’m having a head-slapping moment here - what I was looking for was how to assign a shortcut for Stop Mouse Input, not Note Input… and, although I had been using Escape to exit note entry, it never occurred to me… OK, cool! Thanks for your reply! Still getting sorted here.

Also Return (Enter) works to start and stop note entry. The exception is if you have a marking selected, Enter will open it for editing or show a popover, in which case I hit Shift-N.
