Wanted to share my unfortunate situation :
- DAW PC died on me couple of months ago (replacement is not for tomorrow), now working on our medieval chock full family laptop, so no space to install new software.
- filed a support ticket 6 days ago because of following :
- lost my elicenser (bought a new one online, they’re hard to find in my local rural village)
- registered new licenser stick and sent a Zero Downtime form with all my invoices (which took me hours)
- meanwhile I received several reminder emails I should update my licenses within 7 days (7 days ??? whitch have now elapsed)
- Zero downtime will also elapse in couple of hours
I have also experienced one day after/same day support from small software companies, why can’t Steinberg not offer a decent client support ???
I count on it THEY transfer my licenses in a way I can use my purchased licenses later on. Maybe no one is interested in my mishap, just wanted to share I feel left in the cold by Steinberg support !
