Unused sales opportunities on the part of Steinberg and MakeMusic…

As an owner of Finale, you are currently missing out on some interesting information!

MakeMusic had sent two eMails to every Finale owner that they should

  1. can purchase Dorico Pro 5 at 149$ + VAT
  2. can download the latest version of Finale (27.4.1) for free.

But a Finale owner does not receive this other very important information from MakeMusic:
3. that after purchasing Dorico Pro 5 he also gets the 70% vochers to purchase Cubase Pro 13, WaveLab Pro 12 and Absolute 6
4. that the Garritan sounds (VST3) from Finale can then also be used in Cubase.

I had already tried to contact Steinberg by phone to get them to contact MakeMusic so that MakeMusic could also send this information to their Finale customers by eMail. So far, however, I have not received a call back.

I think many more Finale owners would take advantage of the crossgrade offer if they were aware of points 3 and 4. This also means that Steinberg would sell more Cubase, WaveLab and Absolute licenses. The 25.9.2024 is approaching and this chance to sell even more licenses will soon be lost!

Until now, MakeMusic did not mention that those who switch from Finale to Dorico Pro will also receive the 70% vouchers for Cubase Pro 13, WaveLab Pro 12 and Absolute 6 during the Steinerg’s 40th Anniversary Sale.
