Unusual VST/AU need

Hi,
I’m wondering if anyone here knows of a VST/AU that provides blowing and frullato in woodwind and brass instruments, without any pitch.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure if this is what you are referring to for Woodwind

and some Cage effects, might be related to what you want?

Might be kind of hard to find without any pitches. The only time I’ve seen any where it’s just air effects have been with flutes (such as the OT library mentioned above, which I have, but only flute has a pitchless one under “wind noises.” You can also check out these libraries which I have, there’s a lot of nice percussive and non-tonal woodwind sounds (namely flute and clarinets):

He also has some good sax FX libraries.

As for brass, I haven’t seen much of unpitched blowing sounds. And specifically flutter-tongue might be even harder to track down.

If this is just for a mockup and you know some musicians who play these instruments, you could always have them record some blowing sounds and drop those into a sampler! A bit of effort but just an idea.

I wrote a chart that used that at the beginning back in lockdown, but the Tamborine probably screws up any attempt to sample it. Perhaps Spectralayers or something can remove it.

You would probably find some YouTube clips demonstrating how to create these sounds, (taking into account any copyright/legal etc. for using them), then with a sampler or similar, process as you need to and organize into a small library.
