Even when Cubase is shut down, and without a reverb in the inserts, the audio track has reverb. I know it has to be a channel/routing issue, but I can’t seem to find out how to shut it off. I have an audio input signal, and it records without reverb. No other equipment has reverb capabilities, so I know it’s got to be Cubase. It’s like someone added reverb to my mic.
Hello and welcome to the forum.
If you shut down Cubase which audio track are you referring to?
Some audio interfaces have a reverb effect built-in. Do you use such an audio interface?
Any chance you left monitoring enabled? It’s the button on the track next to the record-arm button.
Thank everyone who gave thought space/time to my issue. Seems it was an app connected to the UR22C. I still can’t figure out why the reverb got switched on though. But at least it’s gone. I still have an issue with signal overdrive/auto limiting when recording acoustic guitar. Also I can solo the track, but I can’t mute it. if anyone knows what that is, I’d be glad to hear what you think.
Thanks JM. I do use a UR22C interface, and that solved the reverb problem. But there are other issues.
