When I’m using a midi keyboard during note input, Dorico keeps switching to the patch of a different staff/instrument. I understand that Dorico should (and does) switch playback patches during note input to the staff I’m working on but if I’m working on a cello, Dorico will change to a different patch either when I press escape to exit note input (even when cello notes are still highlighted), or sometimes randomly when I’m still in note input mode. Am I missing a workflow process to keep things on the same patch until I choose a different instrument/staff?
