Unwanted pitch shift nothing to do with sample rate

All of my audio, anything i have ever recored on cubase, has changed so its about 3 semitones higher in pitch… If i record into cubase same thing… if i import new stuff same thing… old stuff, same thing…
Anyone know why ?

What does this mean…you record and on playback it’s immediately three semitones higher?

So the audio isn’t speeded up, it’s only pitch changed??

A little info on system/interface might be a place to start.

I use a zoom recorder for my imput… but its not just what i record… if i open an old project that used to sound normal, it now, has also a pitch shift… like my voice sounds higher, as does the guitar…

Is it speeded up or not?

i think the tempo is the same… its difficult to tell, i never use a click track… i just play and record what im playing.
but why is stuff i recorded a year ago doing that ?

Sample rate issue is most likely thing but you say it’s not… Obviously knowing off it’s also faster would help to confirm that

I think your right… for some reason… the sample rate was lowered, and when i changed it back…it sounds normal…why did it do that though ?

Thanks for the help.
