Hey all,
I’m in the final stages of my concert band work and am noticing a weird thing happening to my score layout. Every now and then, Dorico is deciding to place just one bar on a page. I do not have a setting forcing a specific number of bars per page and don’t see any system breaks showing as sign posts. Here’s the image. Please advise.

there is probably not enough horizontal space on page 4 to accommodate for this bar. At the same time the following bar 43 is probably to wide to fall onto page 5 too.
Solution: go into the Layout Options and decrease the Note Spacing for that Layout.
I reset the layout and that took care of it. I also (after the fact) reduced note spacing by one tic.
