Unwanted treble clef after a to Coda sign

I seemed to have gotten into a situation but did get one issue resolved. Working on a 17-line big band score arrangement. The form uses a coda sign at the start of bar 16 to direct the players to a Coda on a DS al Coda. Out of curiosity, I wanted to see what Dorico 6 did on one of the individual parts and found a big gap between bar 16 and bar 17. I found a solution to fix it by entering a 1/100 space in the settings. That was good. Now I am left with an unwanted and unneeded treble clef sign before bar 16. I’ve tried selecting it and hitting delete and it will not seem to select. I have used both Write Mode & Engrave Mode.

What can I do to remove or hide the unwanted treble clef?

Thanks for your help!

You could apply a clef change to the invisible clef at bar 16 – which behaves like a treble clef – and another clef change at bar 17 back to treble clef and hide that.
