Is there a way to create a short cut for Up or Down Bow?

Did you ever find a way to do this? Bowing even small sections is very tedious without a shortcut or the ability to multiple-select groups of notes and assign them a bowing.
There are short-ish cuts:
You can select the first marking (alone, not including the note it belongs to) and then Alt+click on the subsequent notes in the passage.
You can Ctrl+select all the notes individually, and then apply the marking only to those notes
You can do one line, select & copy, and then paste special/paste articulations
You can select the passage, and then use the filter (Edit menu) to select only articulations, then copy & paste (I assume, paste special as above)

You can also Edit the Playing Technique, so it shows one marking on every note under a continuous duration of the technique.
