Up from 6.5 to 8.5

Greetings
I installed MAC OSX 10.11 and found out that my Cubase 6.5 wasn’t working so i uninstalled it and tried to reinstall it, but it wouldn’t work.
Now I was thinking of updating to 8.5, does it require for me to have 6.5 installed or just the elicencer with the licens for 6.5 on it?

You need the elicenser only and you will need to install 8.5 from a full installer (that’s around 9Gb).

Full version should be available in your MySteinberg after you run the elicenser activation. (Probably worth updating elicenser software first)
