“Update/ExcludeWUDriversInQualityUpdate” - Should I allow updates, vs. exclude them?

I noticed in Windows update for the first time today a message telling me there exists a policy to exclude drivers from Windows Quality Updates. (Has that message always been there and I just missed it? I don’t actually remember setting that policy, that is above and beyond my usual skill set …)

I wonder whether “Exclude” vs “Update” is the better option. I Have a Steinberg UR28M interface that uses a driver, and maybe not much if any other hardware that needs drivers.

Lots of hardware stuff needs drivers, and anyway afaik Windows won’t update your Steinberg drivers. I say “Update”.
