Update from cubase 6

Hello Everyone,

I am looking to update my cubase 6 pro version to a newer one. Bought it in 2012. I don’t want to spend too much money and i was wondering if there is a version before 9 i can update to from 6.
Or is it possible to buy some older version like 8?
I do this because some new plug ins start to act shady and i have an old macbook with version 10.9.5 2.53 ghz core 2 duo, 8 gb 1067mhz ddr3.

Can anyone advise me a good update and where to get it?

Any older version would need to be purchased from “Used” sources like eBay. Be careful to make sure you are purchasing a good legal used version in which the seller followed the instructions/requirements listed in the Steinberg Resale Wizard.
