Hi guys. I am trying to update from cuBASE artist 6 to 9. About 5 years ago… I bought Cubase artist 6, on a windows laptop, which was obviously compatible. tHEN, abou a year and a half ago, I decided to buy a Macbook pro, Mid 2012, yesomite 10.10.5. I was a little bit frustrated to find that Cubase 6 wasnt compatable. Now after saving some money, I want to update to Cubase 9. My first question is IS cubase 9 compatible with yesomite 10.10.5… if not then I can upgrade to Mac sierra no problem. Second question is, obviously because the previous cubase 6 isnt compatible, I therefor didn’t install it, so how can I uPDATE from 6 to 9 when there is currwntly no version of cubase on my macbook. Cubase 9 is only supported to run on 10.11 and 10.12. When installing 9 You will only need to install 9. the installer provided with the update is a full installer. If you have any further questions, please let me know.
