I’m trying to update from version 5 to 6, but it’s asking me to enter a coupon code. What is a coupon code?

What you need is a Download Access Code, that you get when you buy the update in the Webshop and this needs to be entered in the Download Assistant.

I don’t know what promotion code you mean.

To update Dorico from 5 to 6 you need to buy the update in the webshop. When you’ve made the payment you will see a screen that shows the “Download Access Code” and at the same time you get a confirmation mail, that contains the same code.

This is what you need to enter in the Download assistant, in the upper left corner.
