Title says pretty much. I was looking into the current issue of people having sudden “Install Missing VST Sounds” updates showing up in their SDA then I looked at the installs for Cubase Elements 15 and noticed the following item was not installed.
After installing it, it added extra libraries to my installation.
But after loading those, Activation manager opens and claims I don’t have a license for “Groove Agent Resources” in my account.
The install missing VST sounds update seems to have installed several items that are not part of what you might own. In my case, I went back to Library Manager and removed the items that were installed on the date of that update’s installation. Then I went to the Cubase Pro 15 installation section and saw that a Groove Agent sound set was missing, after which my list for Groove Agent in Library Manager looks like this:
Note: No Groove Agent Factory Content (which had been there after the installation of missing VST sounds, but it did reinstall Studio Kit (which maybe isn’t in Cubase Elements but is in Cubase Pro?), and I see no missing sounds in Groove Agent SE if I bring up the All collection, whereas I did prior to removing other collections that had been installed by the missing sounds update.
I should note that I actually don’t use Groove Agent at all, so I wouldn’t have even noticed anything on that front had it not been for the install missing VST sounds thread and checking tabs other than the HALion one.
