Look, I know Cubase ‘shouldn’t’ crash, but it -does-. I tend to leave Cubase running 24/7 and… it may be a day… it may be a week… it crashes. I’m not complaining. Cubase is generally very reliable.
But what -is- annoying is that so many things like that ‘Recent Files’ are clearly update only upon program exit. Wrong!
I get that you want to make file saves faster, but my vote is to put all the system update jazz in with the File|Save function. That way, when (er… ‘if’) Cubase crashes, stuff like the MRU list and other preferences/settings are good. I’d rather a file save take a few seconds longer and -know- that the entire system was intact.
