Was happy to see that next update is out.
Then saw a question in Facebook group: can anyone confirm that after this update all custom jump bar aliases are gone?
Sadly I can confirm.
This should not happen with maintenace updates.
Please someone tell me is there a way to get them back? (Mac)
On the positive side: custom kbd shortcuts are not gone! Yippee!
Those are never gone, because the file is in the ~Library /Application support /Steinberg /Dorico 5 folder, which doesn’t get modified by an update. I don’t know where the Jump bar aliases are stored…

@MarcLarcher , never say never! I can lay out dozens of possible scenarios where key commands get lost, starting with SSD failure…
BUT! (I now paste here the solution which I just wrote to FB group, I hope it helps someone)

Spoiler Alert! I tested jump bar aliases and none of them worked.
Then I opened preferences > key commands to try to assign some of them again.
To my great surprise the jump bar aliases were all shown there.
After closing preferences and trying again my custom aliases worked again!
Of course… I told you where that json file is, and it’s always a very good idea to keep a copy of it stored in a secure location

I am a backup freak. Can always restore it but maybe indeed it is smart to verify that the location is included in backups. TimeMachine has it anyway but I have more
(The jump bar aliases aren’t actually stored in that file.)
