I thinking of buying Halion Sonic 3.
Is it a ggod idea to uninstall halion se , before installing Halion Sonic, or isi it ok to have both installed?

Keep both installed. Most of the Halion Sonic SE sounds use completely different samples and are exclusive to it, but they can be loaded by the full version. The full version doesn’t replace HS SE if you used it in your projects.
