Updating problem

Hi,

I updated from Cubase 6 LE AI Elements to Cubase 8 LE AI Elements.
But instead of the 6 version being updated to 8 I have both versions now. Is this supposed to be that way?
Also when i want to open 8 I have to enter a license activation code, where do I get this?

Hi,

Yes, this is correct. The license is updated, but Cubase 6 and Cubase 8 are 2 independent applications from the operating system point of view.

The Activation Code you should get after the upgrade process is done.

This is payed upgrade.
