Hi – I am currently upgrading my computer with a new hard drive and will be doing a clean install of Windows 7. I also will be upgrading from Cubase 4 to 6. The question: So I need to install Cubase 4 first, THEN install Cubase 6, -OR - will the Cubase 6 upgrade software know my registered version of 4 already (by either my elicenser or an old registration #, …)? Any thoughts? Thanks.
No need to install C4, C6 will come with an activation code to get the license on the Dongle.
Excellent, thanks…and it just occurred to me that my Cubase 4 is the educational version. Does that qualify for the standard Cubase 6 update (at $149)?
