in the past years i bought an upgrade for the version i had and used it when i really needed it and got the latest version when activated.
for example, i activated my 11 upgrade code and jumped to 14, i usually wait 2 or 3 version before activating the upgrade code since i dont really need the latest version.
now i bought an upgrade from 14 to 15, and i want to know, now that steinberg changed the activation servers from the old eLicencer to the new one, will i be able to keep the activation and get the latest when activated.
I’m not sure what you are asking for, because the change from the old eLicenser to Steinberg Licensing was from Cubase 11 to Cubase 12. If you already have Cubase 14 it is activated via the Activation Manager.
You can run releases from Cubase 12 to Cubase 15 with the latest license, because they all use Steinberg Licensing.
If you want to run Cubase 11 or earlier you simply need the USB dongle connected.
