Upgrade form Cubase 12 to 13 shortcut query

I did the trial Cubase 13 and it seem to work fine. There was a choice of trialing either Pro or Elements so I did Pro.

I then bought and tried to download the Cubase 13 Artist (upgrade from C12 Artist) . The shortcut on my desktop seems to always default to Pro. I had tried to uninstall anything to do with Pro.

Does this seem strange to others or okay?

Should it not be an Artist 13 shortcut?

Artist and Pro actually use the same application whereas the activated license determines what edition is started. Do you still have the license of the Cubase Pro 13 trial version activated? If so, it should be sufficient to deactivate it so that only Cubase Artist 13 is activated.

Thanks Martin, that was correct. I had to deactivate C13.
