Upgrade from 11 to 12 - strangeness

So I recently upgraded from Wavelab 11 to 12. Wavelab 12 is up and running well on two computers. BUT, here’s the weirdness:

  1. In the Steinberg Activation Manager, it shows the Wavelab Pro 12 activations (good)

  2. In the Steinberg Download Assistant, under “my products”, it shows Wavelab Pro 11. Wavelab 12 is not shown (NOT good - why is this?)

Anyway, my concern is it appears Steinberg doesn’t recognize my purchase of Wavelab 12? I don’t want it to affect future updates. Yet Wavelab 12 is now installed here and running fine… I would feel more comfortable if the download manager recognized Wavelab Pro 12 as one of “my products”.

Is it possible you have two accounts and the Download Assistant is signed into the one with no WL12?

I don’t think so. I bought the Cubase 15 upgrade at the same time, and that one appears in the Steinberg Download Manager fine… and I only have one email address registered with Steinberg that I’m aware of… I tried logging in using other emails, but nothing seems to exist.

I just checked right now signing into the Steinberg website, to look at my products there, and Wavelab 12 is indeed listed there… it’s just not in the Steinberg Download Manager, which still only shows Wavelab 11 Pro.

I did uninstall the elincenser software. Maybe that has something to do with it? I see in the Steinberg Download Assistant, there’s a box to install “optional runtime components”. Maybe I need to check that and install it? I’m not sure.
