Upgrade from 3.5.0 to 3.5.10 does not work

Hi all

I’ve updated my Dorico from 3.5.0 to 3.5.10 with the Update_win package provided by Steinberg. That was a bad decision! Now Dorico hangs at the initial startup screen and won’t start up anymore. It looks to me like a license issue but me e-licenser reports no errors, rather it says all is perfectly fine. Has anybody else seen this?

I’m running Windows 10 with all the latest updates…

Hi Martin, Sorry to hear you’ve had troubled updating Dorico. There seems to be an issue for some Windows users with this update, and it is indeed related to the eLicenser. Try downgrading your eLicenser to version 6.11 as Daniel describes here. Hope that gets you up and running again!

thanks so much for the quick response! I first removed the current eLicenser and reinstalled the “old” one from the link above. That solved the problem.
