Hi, I would like to use the current promotion -30% and purchase an upgrade from Cubase Artist 10.5 to Cubase Artist 14. In fact I do not need the upgrade, but I see this as a possibility to get away from my USB licencer and have elicence instead. Question, will this work if I just buy the upgrade and install it? What will happen then with my USB stick - can be thrown away ?

you can keep the USB stick in case you want or need to run Cubase versions older than 12. everything above that uses the “new” Steinberg Licensing System.
