Upgrade from LE4 to Cubase Artist 9

I purchased Cubase Artist 9 upgrade from LE4 from Guitar Center. I have a activation license on my purchase receipt. I was told to go to ww.steinberg.net/en/mysteinberg/my_products.hmtl.
Enter the Activation code and I would be good to go, but that dog won’t hunt.

How do I install and register my electronic download?

Can I use my LE4 elicenser, or do I have to buy a new one?

Since I am a fairly new beginner, I would appreciate any help the forum could give me.

Hi,

To activate Cubase Artist you need a USB-eLicenser. In the eLCC application move your Cubase LE Soft-license to the USB-eLicenser. Then you can Enter the Activation code and upgrade.

After activation and registration, you can see the download link of Cubase 9 in your MySteinberg > Downloads.
