I am going to upgrade to Dorico Pro 6 from Pro 5. Do I need to uninstall 5 first (I don’t want two versions on the machines), or will the installer “upgrade” my existing install to 6?
If I uninstall, will I loose customizations like changed/new key commands and what not?
Installing Dorico 6 won’t interfere with Dorico 5. I would recommend leaving Dorico 5 installed for at least a few days in case you encounter any issues with Dorico 6. Once you’re satisfied everything is working smoothly with Dorico 6, you can then uninstall Dorico 5 if you wish.
Dorico 6 will automatically migrate all your custom settings from Dorico 5 when you run it for the first time.
