Upgrade - LE or AI

Hi all,

I’ve been using Cubase that came bundled with Steinberg hardware, however am interested in upgrading. The cheapest place I found an upgrade was Amazon Prime of all places.

The upgrade says it’s a “Cubase Pro Upgrade from Cubase AI".

Inside my software the “about” page states the version is Cubase AI 10.0.5. Build 72, however the desktop link says it’s Cubase “LE” AI.

Is there a difference and would the upgrade work?

Hi,

Cubase AI is bundled with the Steinberg products. Cubase AI, LE and Elements is the only one executable application. Only the license decides. Therefore you can see it. To be 100% sure, you will find the exact license in the eLCC. Or once you start Cubase, you can find it in the About Cubase screen.

I checked in the license centre and it’s showing as Cubase AI - so all good. The only thing to decide now is whether to go for Artist or Pro!
