Just upgraded from Artist 12 to Pro 12. Entered the upgrade activation code in the Steinberg download app, then downloaded and only installed the Cubase app. When I run Cubase after the upgrade install it still runs Artist.
Next step, please?
Did you open the Steinberg Activation Manager? What’s displayed?
Maybe restart the machine for good measure.
Thanks much for the quick response Steve! I did a general Internet search after I posted this and saw that step mentioned (in a non-Steinberg blog) and then ran the Activation Mgr. Pro works now.
Would have been nice to see a simple pop-up help msg in the Steinberg Download app directing you to do that after the install…
