Upgrade to Cubase 6 - Still need to purchase Dongle?

I have sent my order for Cubase 6 upgrade. Do i still need to purchase a separate dongle or does it now come with it?

Which version did you upgrade from? Was it called a competitive upgrade? What country?

I upgraded from AI 4. I just went online and said upgrade from AI 4 to Cubase 6.

Then it should come with it’s own Dongle.

I was under the impression that it wouldn’t so I bought a dongle seperately. I guess I’ll find out Wednesday. Upgraded from AI5

Go to the Steinberg webshop, tick “upgrade from Cubase AI 4 or 5 blabla”. And it tells you next to the price “USB Licenser required”…

On the box it says:

Upgrade from Cubase Essential 4/5, Cubase SE3, Sequel 2, SL 1/2/3, Cubase SX 1/2/3, Studio Case 2, Cubase LE 4/5, Cubase AI 4/5. USB-ELICENSER REQUIRED ---- NOT INCLUDED

So there you have it. I’m going to go register now with my separately bought e-licenser…

Thanks for the update. I will go out and purchase a usb elicenser this weekend. Cubase is coming sometime next week.
