Upgrade to Cubase Artist 12 from Elements 8 Is not working Soft E-licencer

I raised this a while back and thought it was resolved but it has not fixed anything: How to upgrade from Cubase Elements 8 to Cubase 12 Artist - #9 by Wickham_Sky

Now my cubase 12 will not open because it says that verification has expired.
What can I do from here?

How does it look like in the Steinberg Activation Manager, please? Can you see Cubase Artist 12 license there? Is the licence activated?

I could never upgrade my Soft E-licencer because it said I needed a USB, but I only have the soft e-licencer

I’m afraid you need a new upgrade code, which doesn’t require the USB-eLicenser (in the past, it has been required).
