Upgrade to Dorico 6 - Font Issues?

I’ve just made an overdue update to Dorico 6 from 4, and have just begun work on a new arrangement. However slash regions are appearing with clefs instead of slashes, and none of the chord symbols are showing accidentals (the first chord in this screenshot should be Eb, and its Eb in the popover). This appears to be happening in all my files, whether they’re new in Dorico 6 or if I’m opening older files. Is this a fonts issue, and if so does anyone have any idea how I might fix it? Many thanks!

Hi Ben, welcome to the forum !

Are you perhaps on Windows? Maybe you could try to restart your computer after upgrading, this seems to resolve some font problems after upgrading I’ve read.

Thanks Ton! I’m on Mac, but I’ll try restarting now

Sadly no luck with that :frowning:

Did you see a missing fonts warning when opening a project?

Could you attach a small project which shows the problem with you, so we could check if the problem is in the project or else

Check with Font Book that there aren’t any duplicate copies, e.g. Bravura in the user Library and root level Library.

I didn’t, no. I’ve attached the project here if that’s helpful?

Rouge Christmas DEMO.dorico (2.1 MB)

Looks OK here.

No problems here too with your file.

Please try @benwiggy ‘s suggestion first (he’s way more experienced)

You could also try setting the music font to something else (Petaluma) and see if it’s just a problem with Bravura.

Ah yes, that indeed seems to be the problem - think I’ve got it fixed now. Thanks for the help everyone, really appreciate this commmunity!
