Upgrade - Use before dongle arrives?

Hi, I know I’m impatient but I was allowed to d/l C8 without waiting for the box to come… but now apparently I have to wait for the dongle to come in the mail. Two questions:

  1. How long does it usually take to arrive? heh
  2. Is there anyway, considering I just spent 500 bucks, I can use the program in the meantime? If not then why even let us d/l it?
    Thanks and I don’t expect to be able to use it until the dongle comes but… sheesh… disappointing… Write a soft dongle that works for a few weeks for goodness sakes… If we are Steinberg money by not having to have a DVD sent the least they could do it give us a few days of use before the dongle arrives… heh

You could download the Cubase 7 Elements trial while you wait.
Creating a temporary soft license for Cubase 8 would totally defeat the purpose of requiring a USB dongle for security.
I hope you get it quickly. I think you will agree it was worth the wait.
