Is it possible to upgrade from Cubase SE to Cubase Elements 12?

Apparently not as there seems to be no version Cubase SE.

Go here and click on the red “Buy Cubase 12” button. You’ll then be able to chose Cubase Elements and your options on how to get it:

Actually, there has been an SE version, during the Cubase 1 to 3 days, long ago (twenty years…), just before the Cubase 4 generation. The whole range was : SE > SL > SX.

So, I guess that there is no direct upgrade for it : the full Elements version purchase is required, AFAIK…
