I bought a Dorico 3.5 Pro Crossgrade Edu License on August 31 2021: am I still eligibile for the free upgrade to Dorico 4? In that case, what’s the procedure?
Thank you in advance
Welcome to the forum, @sam.st. I suggest you run Steinberg Download Assistant, which will update various shared components, including Steinberg Activation Manager (SAM). Once you have SAM installed, run it, sign in with your Steinberg ID, and then from the menu in the top right-hand corner choose Grace Period Check. If you are eligible for a grace period update, it will tell you what to do next.
Thank you for your prompt reply: I’m using eLicenser Control Center at the moment, on MacOs 12: am I at risk of causing problems to the current 3.5 activation by installing SDA and SAM? Also, and I am badly at fault here, I can’t locate the mail with my activation number, and I did not create a Steinberg ID when I bought Dorico 3.5. I can see the serial from the current eLicenser: would that be enough? Is there a way to extract my activation code from my Pc?
